Two claws on one foot?

Hello all! This is my very first posting, I’ve always found such helpful info here so I thought I would post!! I picked up some babies at Feldmans a little while ago, and yesterday I noticed this guy has an extra claw! I’ve seen extra toes before, but never an extra claw! I have no idea what breed he is, if anyone might know please tell me! But I was hoping to find out why he even has an extra claw, I thought it was so cool! My little mutant thank you in advance!!

That is a pretty cool defect. It is pretty minor so the chick is likely to grow up normal otherwise.
I don't know her breed, though, sorry.

My first thought was Exchequer Leghorn, but he/she appears to have a crest growing in. The double claw is cool! Doesn't look like it will cause any issues in the future.

I only had one, but she was the prettiest hen in my flock.

Yeah I didn’t think it would affect its life at all, I just hadn’t seen 2 claws on one foot before and was wondering what might have caused it! Here’s some more pics, they still need some work because they just run away from me and the camera lol

Someone on the BYC Facebook group guessed that breed as well, I looked up pictures and I’m thinking that’s probably what it is! It was in the straight run exotic bin at Feldmans and no one knew what breeds were in there, hopefully I didn’t end up with all Roos lol
