Two Feed Quetions ... Advice

I just called the seed company listed on my bag of red wheat feed. They didn't know the protein percentage. Thanks for the info!

My wheat is VNS Hard Red Winter Wheat (Grown in Wisconsin..Which I needed to check with the selenium business..

)

Off to make adjustments to my BYC page so I do not miss inform anyone else..

I did check another site to make sure on that percentage and found this at Kansas State University -

Wheat, hard red 14%
Wheat, soft red 14%
Wheat, soft white 11%
Wheat, red, steam flaked 14%

Thank you OP for this thread and thanks also to all the contributors!! Two chicken feed mixers (me and thee) set straight on wheat protein! What a blessing and I am so grateful.

I fed Mrs. Fluffy Puffy and her chick some of the stuff, they loved it.

I bet my guineas would like it too, it has white millet in it.
