Two laying 'pet' hens , free to a loving home (Bronxville,NY,10708)

We are shortly relocating abroad and very sadly we cannot take our sweet girls; Mabel and Milly. These girls are young dependable layers (2 delicious eggs every other day). They are of a small bantam d'uccle breed. Mabel and Milly have been raised by hand and love humans. Mabel, in particular, loves nothing more than to sit on your lap or in the crook of your arm. They are very gentle, funny and ever curious. They may not do well as part of a larger flock. We will include a brand new coop and a supply of feed that should last a few months. We love these hens very much and are sad to have to leave them!

Of course you have my support. My kids love my birds and would be crushed if they had to part with them.
If I had the money to have them shipped to me I'd take them for ya.
We ended up with two roos that were supposed to be hens. The extra hens would be welcome

Sweet Mabel likes being included in all activities! and will take a very content snooze when being stroked....
