I don't know what to do.

I got one RIR and to EE's. The RIR I got for egg laying, and the EE's I got for the novelty of have pretty eggs. Looks like my RIR and one of my EE's are roosters

I have two silkies also, but they are still way too tiny to tell.

What should I do? Is two roosters with one hen dangerous? With the way things are looking, I wouldn't be suprised if my silkies turned out to be roosters too!!

Should I list the RIR on craigslist? I'm afraid to get rid of "him" and he turn out to be a she. But I'm pretty sure it's male. I even posted a photo a few days back and a few people agreed that he was most likely male...

Wait until you are really sure...I got 26 chicks and there were times when I would have sworn they were all roosters! (None were.) Good luck!

I looked at your other post, but could only find a pic of the RIR. I would definitely wait a little longer before coming to a firm conclusion...especially if your EEs are also 4 wks old. The EEs can be VERY difficult to tell, so I wouldn't give up for awhile, yet. I wouldn't give up on your RIR yet, either.

Did you buy straight run, or are they supposed to be pullets? Just curious, as that would change the odds a bit, as well.

I bought them straight run. The reason I'm thinking one of my EE is a rooster is because his comb is a little bigger than the other one. It's not as friendly either and his feet are just a little slightly bigger.

Here is the picture of my RIR that I posted the other day:

And here's my EE. I haven't posted a photo of him yet in the "what breed or gender is this" section...

It's way too early to be getting rid of them. That RIR could be a male, but it's legs look thin which indicates pullet. (Males tend to have more stocky legs) It could just be a pullet that is developing early. EE's take A LOT longer to sex than other breeds, but I'm betting that EE is a female.
