two of my hens are sleeping in the trees

I dont want to clip there wings because if they get chased by a predetor they have more chance of escaping if they can fly fences and trees instead of squeezing under trees

I would clip their wings the only time you might have that issue is during the day. My girls hide under weeds and Arborvitae trees to escape the hawks. We just put up netting in their run so no one will get eaten. My girls used to fly up in the trees, over six foot fences and everything. You say you don't want to do it because of predators, but if they sleep in a tree, you have all kinds of predators, owls for one not to name all the others. Good Luck.

we only have stoats and it took down my biggest strongest hen because she couldnt fly an dthe others flew the fence and she got jammed under it and the stoat ate her head after she was stuck!, i dont mind the hens sleeping in the tree as long at they arnt thick enough to come down when something is at the bottom, and ive cracked one who loves sleeping in the shed now she snuggles in with the rooster and my two boss hens

No. She won't die because she won't "fall off". How do you think she's gotten down every other morning? She flaps her wings and flies down. If the wind blows her off the branch, she'll do the same thing.

good because when it started getting windy i was just hoping she will be ok

Does it get cold and wet and windy during the winter or do you have the same weather as the states? I saw a picture of stoats and OMGosh
