Two of my Pekins attacked by....🤷🏽‍♀️ Deep wounds... help .. 😢

Hi, thank you so much for your willingness to help.
So. This may be a silly question but I thought their feathers that are up close to the skin carried Blood ? By plucking them it will not cause bleeding?
I have a antiseptic spray that I’ve been using and fuera ointment. But she is Just so greasy and just constantly trying to clean it off, so I thought an meeting her get in the tub today to just let her relax in the water ? The wound is healing well, I think I will send a picture and maybe you could let me know if bathing is a bad idea for her?

and unfortunately I do not have antibiotics for her 😔

the side by side pic is Monday (the day I found her ) and yesterday... the yellow is just the fuera ointment and the purple is the Blu KOTE I jus sprayed lightly on a couple surface wounds up top.
Ps I will not be using the Blu KOTE again!

Plucking the feathers should not cause too much bleeding and it will allow you to keep the wounds cleaner. One of my books, and one of my vets say not to use furacin ointment because it can actually prevent to wound from healing properly, so I would switch to Neosporin instead.

I recently had a call duck attacked by a hawk. My neighbor actually threw a rock at the hawk to make it leave. He grabbed my duck and put her in a box. When I got home, I cleaned her up a little, and put her in a crate by herself, near the other ducks.
The next day, I put some neosporin on the wounds, she had some peck marks down the side of her head and neck, and an open gash/wound down lower.
After a few days, I put her in the bathtub with a couple inches of water. I think it was about 10 days, she finally started running from me, so I knew she was feeling better. She’s back outside with her clan now, I was amazed how well and how quickly she healed! I didn’t go overboard on aide, neopsorin twice I think was I all did.

Oh my goshhhhh that poor sweet baby!!!! Must have been traumatizing.... for both of you lol...

So you did put her in the bath after a few days? I’m going to post a pic of how her wound is looking today?! And maybe you can tell me if it’s looking about what it should? It’s mostly black and I have it covered in fuera ointment so that is the yellow you’ll see ... she is just such a greasy hot mess I really want to let her kinda bathe a little. I’ve just been flushing the wound with an antiseptic spray the vet Recommended. She has not been in water since it happened (Monday)
