Two of my Pekins attacked by....🤷🏽‍♀️ Deep wounds... help .. 😢

I think so too @ducky donna I know she is going to want you to get those feathers out of the wound. If you can rinse the wound good the feathers might loosen enough to clip them back . I see that swelling around those feathers not sure if that's is infection or just from trauma. I sure hope @casportpony is on to help. She is our wound expert.

this looks like a job for @casportpony!
Of course post pictures that way we can hopefully help better. If you can get a good pic of the wound that would help. Another reason why clipping would be a good idea.
guess reassurance that it is looking somewhat normal for about 10 days into the healing process or not would be helpful to put my mind at ease as well. I’ve been bringing her in for playtime in the water ... but wondering if I should put her in a tote and bring her in the house so she’s not as lonely?!

Not sure I'd pluck those that have pus or swelling around them lets wait and see what casportpony says. Clipping isn't going to hurt her I clip feathers a lot. I just clipped the feathers around my hens fluffy butts last night. You can't hurt them clipping.

Lol fluffy butts 😆

She is the only one left? I'd def bring her inside that way she'll stay warmer too while healing. What part of the country or world are you in?
I have my two boys Bear and Bailey still. But She is in our barn closed into the bathroom area so she can have space to walk around. But she is by herself 😞 I thought about seeing if she’d hang in the large tote inside .. I just do t really have an area inside suitable for all the duck poooo!!! We have a mjnuture pig I thought ab introducing to her to see if they’d be cool being roommates? Keep each other company? Lol
