Two questions for gun control people

You are right, it is not funny. It makes me sad the way liberals think.

That children should be allowed to grow up in innocence? That individuals should feel safe in public places? That violence shouldn't be the default option?

I don't know if this link has been posted yet; I regret that I am on a tight schedule and don't have time to read the entire thread. If it has been posted already, please forgive this repost!

I was talking with some educated, intelligent friends that I admire and respect, and it became clear that they did not understand what an "assault weapon" actually is. Realizing that my smart, respected friends were confused on the issue, it made me realize that there are probably a lot of people that are not actually all that clear on what an assault weapon is, even my respected peers.

Bullets that can kill should be made super expensive to buy...the only cheap bullets should be tranquilizers...that way you can shoot and stun your assailant, or the clerk at the store you are robbing--whatever you are using the gun for...make killing bullets super hard to buy, and make tranqs easy. that is how you solve the issue...That way when a person goes somewhere and starts mowing people down they are going to wake in a few hours feeling disoriented, but not dead or paralyzed...I guess there are some people that could have reactions to whatever is used in these no kill bullets, but that would still take down on gun related deaths by a lot.

If it was up to me nobody would have any guns at all...and if nobody had them then nobody else would feel the need to have them...I don't see guns as offering protection and safety..more like stripping away protection and safety. I don't like the idea that the only way to be safe in our society is to own guns, because guns aren't safe..they kill things for goodness sakes. But the guns are already there...so we deal with that how we can...like how I mentioned above...take away the bullets.


And to whoever put as a fact that China has more mass killings and that baseball bats are more often used for homicides---you are sadly and sorely mistaken...

Normal guns do not shoot tranquilizers. The ones that do are big needles that have to be filled with drugs by the shooter. Then they take several minutes to work. The cost is huge.

The news broadcast clearly said that the bushmaster was found in the trunk of the car! ................. I agree facts do get twisted, threw the media & social comments.....If you look at the statistics The baseball bat & 10 x the murders in china's schools are absolutely true..........I realize a tragedy struck close to home for you. I'm certainly not against a peaceful society. I'm against having the rites of American Citizens stripped from them every time some idiot screws up. I guess it only does take one idiot to change the world.

To Nambroth: OK, so we should all now know the definitions as they are defined by the person who prepared that slide show. So what? After the descriptions the so called facts we either dead wrong or skewed to favor your position. So what? It adds nothing to the argument either for or against.

So the woman in Georgia last week should not have had her gun to save the life of her an her two kids? Cause that crowbar he came at her with was harmless?
