Two rescue chicks; What breed??

I'm contemplating adding a Silkie rooster, so I've been researching them -- folks told me that they don't fly (or don't fly *well*), but like to roost on the floor.

We have a ramp up to our roosts, and will be building something lower for our New Kid (a warm box filled with pine shavings? a lower roost?) too. That might be something to consider if you have high roosts.

Experienced Silkie owners, please chime in with how your Silkies sleep!

ohhh I do actually have a high roost, I'll definitely have to look into that one. As of right now I have the two of them quarantined with my other rescue chicken, a very docile adult Cornish cross. The only thing I'm really concerned about is how much the vet bill will be, but I will find some way to get it taken care of one way or another! I have posted a few things about them online as well, and intend on putting flyers around where they were found. Heres hoping for the best!
