Two weeks ago a Friend passed on, Rehomed around 200 Birds over a 100 Peafowl, here are a few pics.

Birdeo, I am unsure which pic's you are talking about, copy pic and re post it here, I thought it was going to be a chore also trying to re home these birds, I made one phone call and it was done. I do wish I was able to get some of the Pea people on here that live near me a chance at some of the birds but Since the guy was driving over 2,000 miles one way I figured he should have first pic, and he took what ever I didn't.

What a great place your friend had! So sorry for your loss:( I wish I had a place near me that I could go look at that many beautiful birds! Glad someone was able to take them. My next dream pair is bronze WE or even bronze pied WE. I do love your BSSP too:)

Yes I had been looking for a BSSP, My Bronze BS IS going to be a good looking bird also, He had so many great looking birds it was hard to choose.

So sorry for the loss of your friend and so good of you to help the family out like you did with rehoming the birds.
He had a nice set up, that's for sure.
Curious....what is the brownish grown bird with the speckled-y white tail and white speckling on his back and wings, is that a bronze pied ?
Also, the brown chick with the white face and neck , is that also a bronze of some sort?

Joe,

Not real clear on how to do the pics. yet, still a bit " green" here, lol.
In your 2nd post the grown bird I speak of is , counting from the top , in pics. # 5 and # 7.
In your 3rd post the brown chick I speak of is in the last 3 photos with one other chick.
I love the looks of both those birds, especially that chick.
Nice looking birds overall but those two just stood out to me .

Ok, the Bigger bird is a Year old Bronze Black Shoulder, He will get Darker and lose the White spots, Do a Google search you should find many Pic's he will be a great looking birds.,

The Chicks, are the little Yellowish one is a Pied Chick, unsure male or female at this time, the Bigger Darker one with the white face is a Spanish Black Turkey.

Wow Joe- So sorry for the loss of such an obvious animal lover. His facility and animal care look to be top notch. Wish he had been spared. The world needs more care takers like him.
And for the sake of those birds and animals I'm glad you were there to help facilitate their re-location. Those pictures are an inspiration for others to model their facilities after. After some time for healing, I would imagine the family would enjoy knowing the pictures could improve the lives of other birds etc... Thank you Joe G for caring. Molly

Very upsetting... I am glad to have at least had the chance to have talked to him before he passed away. I love those BSSP!

So sorry for your loss. But thats good the family thought of you and you were able to get a few birds and rehome all the rest. That can be hard to do with so many.

I was very concerned about re homing the birds, He lived alone way up in the mountains, it would have been a chore to go there and care for them. It was nice having all those birds so close, what ever bird I wanted to see I could go there and see what it looked like in person.
