I have 10 hens and a two-year-old rooster named Bluebarb, whom I've had since he was born. However I work at a school with acreage and can't let my chooks out to free range after hours as I'm afraid Barb is going to run across a straggler child. He's a good boy, loves to be cuddled once you pick him up, but he will definitely flog you if he's feeling frisky. I've recently trimmed his spurs.

I'm looking for someone who needs an excellent rooster for their flock of ladies or who has a bachelor flock he can join. I love him so much I'd take him back if it doesn't work out - please no soup pot!

I'm located just outside of Portland, OR in Tualatin.

Breeding an aggressive rooster will pass those genetics onto the next generation I would cull it and be done. No need to keep an aggressive rooster when there are plenty of nice ones

I will be keeping him until I find the right situation for him. I don't breed chickens.
Hope you found a home for him!! I have a baby Lavender Orpington myself, and I'm praying that 'she' doesn't turn out to be a 'he'. Otherwise my sweet little baby would need to be rehomed... and I can't bring myself to do that!😢
