Tylan 50 dose?

Looking to give four 2 week old brahma chicks tylan 50 100ml injection just not sure of dosage.. can anybody help q that info?

Welcome to BYC! Tylan 50 is given by weight. Give 0.2 ml per pound of bodyweight 3-4 times a day. To weigh them, go to Target or Wal-Mart and buy a good scale. Then let us know what they weigh and we can calculate a dose for you.

Since Tylan 50 can cause injection site necrosis, I recommend giving it orally.

The heaviest is weighing 4-5 oz and the smallest is weighing 3.28 oz

4 ounces gets ~0.05 ml 3-4 times a day
5 ounces gets ~0.07 ml 3-4 times a day
3.28 ounces gets ~0.4 ml 3-4 times a day

What symptoms are these 2 week old chickens showing?
What are you trying to treat?

No they are all good and healthy.. not one runny nose or watery eye... the babies are separated from the rest.
