Tylan 50 Injectables question

I believe they have an upper respiratory infection. Was told to use this product. Pretty sure my whole flock has it. I have isolated my three barred rocks to inside the house and used all precautions. But, when we woke up today all the other birds look like they have an athletic noses now. So what do I do with my girls who have been on the meds for two days? Keep them in while starting the treatment on the other birds? We have a mess right now :-/

Most of the respiratory diseases in chickens such as mycoplasma (MG), coryza, infectious laryngotracheitis (ILT,) and bronchitis are easily spread through the water and food, or airborne, so if everyone is showing symptoms it is probably worthless to separate them. These disease make the whole flock carriers for life (bronchitis for a year,) so you should close your flock--no giving away hatching eggs or selling birds. I would recommend that you get a necropsy by the state vet on a chicken if one dies to find out which disease is causing it because there are vaccines that can be used on new birds to prevent them from getting it. I would not want to irritate anything else by giving this throught the mouth. For small bantams, like Modern GamesI would give them .5cc, I buy the diabetes needles from walmart. For a large fowl I use needles from the vet and give them 1cc. I lay them on their back. I feel for the top of the breast bone and inject at the top, to the side, and rotate side each day. Use a new needle everytime.I have not decided the best duration though. I give plain greek yougart, mix w probiotics (for horses or cattle is cheeper), spinach, fruit, and lots of vitamin rich supplemental food. I also put vitamins in the water. This is a very harsh med on thier system and you should be very careful not to strip their system causing secondary problems that you may not see for months. I hope everyone practices biosecurity with the infected bird. I actually have a location far away from any other birds and do not let dogs walk in the area. I keep a pan at the entry and put enough bleach in to step in and cover the sole of shoe, booties are better. I also spray the ground and everything constantly with a garden sprayer filled with bleach and 2 parts water. When I take anything out of the cage to wash it first gets sprayed, then washed with soap and bleach. I wear disposable gloves and it all goes into a trash can devoted to that specific trash.
 
Thanks, my wife was thinking we would have to wait a month and destroy the eggs. that was a lose/lose for me, I want to hatch out some eggs and thought that this would be the best time to get the hatching eggs (as I can not stop eating them).
 
I know you posted this a long time ago but I have a chicken with a persistent swollen sinus due to mycoplasma infection. You injected directly into the sinus cavity and I think that is my next move. To confirm, you injected it into the center of the swollen sinus?
