Tylan 50 Injectables question

What do they have? No one seems to be able to answer my question. How do I cull them? They are so cute and small!!! Vets in my area want $55.50 to see them or put them down. Any help would be appreciated!

They could possibly have coryza or mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG.) Here's a link, scroll down to both and read up on them if you wish. To be 100% sure though will require blood samples drawn and sent for analysis, your vet might be able to do that. $55.50 is cheap, here it costs $90+ just to walk in the door and goes up from there, no matter what type of animal you bring in.

You could reuse your needles no more than about 2 or 3 times. My experience is that they dull and can cause unecessary pain when injecting.

Just purchased Tylan 50 at Tractor Supply. Purchased 5 new girls and they all have respirator issues (runny nose, shaking head etc. Our Silkies eye closed from this sinus issue. Took to Vet thinking her eye was injured and in fact it's a respiratory infection. Being a novice I didn't even recognize. This forum has been very helpful. Joined to tell you all how much I appreciate your experience and dedication to our little pets. I use the site for all aspects of chicken care and this has by far been the most needed.
