Ugh, might have to cull a chick. Warning-Graphic pictures

This is last night right after hatching. Looks great. Now there is something thick, red and dragging hanging out of its butt. And there is a lot of blood all over the place. It doesn't look like yolk. More like intestine or an organ...no shape to it just red and gooey. The chick is standing and able to walk, I don't know. I've got 2 others that have started to hatch but aren't quite there yet.

Correction, i've seen what does look like yolk combined with blood.

Yeah. I can't do anything for him till the rest hatch. Poor guy.

poor baby . id like to help but have no advice except maybe put a wet paper towel in the bator and grab him out to do what you must. did you post this in the emergency section? you ll get better response there.
