Ugly Chick

You are right... He has dark colored legs! Not yellow at all. I'm sure he isn't a mix. We got him from Southern States. My daughter in law picked out 6 different chicks. She thought they were suppose to be 2 golden laced Wyandottes, 1 barred rock, 1 sussex, 1 silver laced Wyandotte and 1 Americauna. Looking at how they have all developed, he would have to be the Americauna unless he was placed in the wrong group somehow.

What do you think?

If i may venture a guess...
It might be an Easter Eagger with unusually light colored feet. They should be green or bluish. This would make sense with the odd coloring.
Feed stores often sell EEs as Americauanas but are rarely true Americauana. I have two EEs and they are wonderful birds.

Legs are a lot darker than the other chicks.. I'll try to get a better photo later today...

The coloring and comb type are still making me think it is a Silver laced Wyandotte. However, that greenish leg color is wrong for the Wyandotte. Could be an Easter Egger or SLW mix, or just a hatchery quality Wyandotte. And it is still looking like a cockerel, for now.

I just want to update you on Ugly Chick... This is what he/she looks like this week. Still not fully feathered and not near as good looking as all the others but I can see light at the end of the tunnel. It might just be a looker one day! Still think it is a Silver Laced Wyandotte? Hen or Roo?

I think you may be right. He is certainly different than the other SLW that is in the feed bowl next to him but that one is a hen so maybe that is why they look different. They did come from Southern States and they were suppose to be all purebreds. :) Time will tell. At least he is quite a bit less ugly this week!
