Uh, is someone ready for lockdown a little early?

Meanwhile, in the incubator... I kept hearing this cheeping and thought it was my other currently hatching egg, but, no, it was an egg that got overambitious and pipped internally AND externally and was pushing through the cracks where there was still bloody membrane. I put some coconut oil in the hole and dabbed off the blood, so hopefully he'll finish his thing there. He's still in the egg, and he's moving his mouth, so he's still absorbing, but his beak is free. Also, ANOTHER one started cheeping. How many are you waiting on?? I read your entire thread and it seems like every thing you are doing is responded to with thumbs up from this community. Keep posting and asking questions. I know feedback from everyone here gives you peace of mind so keep on asking questions. Like i say to my chickens, ‘your doin’ it’!!

4 are working on hatching and 6 are still incubating I'm hoping to sell them when they get older. I'd actually love to have a little duck farm/education center one day because they're such interesting little things!

He's very curious and clumsy! Lol. My mom has claimed temporary snuggle privileges, but he's very fluffy and peppy. Last night he was worrying me a lot, but he seems better today!
