Uh, oh... Maybe a SECOND Broody? Olivia's Sister TUX!

The PoufyHead Sisters had a standard sized Cochin/Silkie cross daddy and a Barred Rock mama. They were a surprise-supposed to be pure BR, but I adore those girls. Kate is the biggest in body size, has no gold in her at all, and lays the largest eggs. Olivia is in the middle with body and egg size and Tux is the smallest in body and lays a small egg. They came from helmstead's flock and their sire passed on right about the time they hatched. (he was thought to be infertile-surprise! LOL)

Oh no! Another angry beach ball? What on earth are you going to do with yourself?

Gracie was a sweatheart even after the babes were born....until about the sixth day and I was holding a chick and she went at me.....Her Roo is fairly easy and VERY predictable....this was more akin to a banshee on crack! I only saw it once more with my dog who loves the chickens but gracie had to go at her to remind her it's rude to sniff a chicks butt! I can't imagine multiple broody gals at one time....Good Luck!!!

Gracie is just such a quiet girl in general....she does this little "doo do doo do doo" "can I have your grasshopper" "I'm just a little girl" peep. could be because I have only two adults...but she doesn't even make a noise when she lays an egg..nothing...I did love her new honk at the babies poop...and her call to eat...not as cute as Ese's but new chicken language. TO hear their new calls is a treat...if Gracie crowed I think I'd fall over watching Ese's response>>>> Good luck with those grump girls!!!!!!
