Uh-oh.....power outage.....question.....

We lost power yesterday (yet another teenager slammed into a pole :-(

Power was out for 8 hours. It got down in the low 50's last night - incubator is in the garage.

Are my peacock eggs in the incubator lost?

Oh I am so sorry

I have never incubated pea fowl, but I had 11 Guinea eggs in the bator and we lost power, for days! The bator got down to 66, DH felt sorry for me and went and got his Dads generator. We were cold but those eggs were warm

Anyway I ended up with 1 hatching. However these were shipped eggs and were not guaranteed as fertile. I would not give up. You could candle and see what you see. How far along are they?

my guess you may have lost some,but not all. candle in a few days . depend alot on how far along they were.
