UK/Europe vs US varieties

I'm fascinated by the following:

1. the differences between the same breeds from one side of the Atlantic to the other - most commonly silkies and orpingtons.

2. the prevalence of different breeds in each area. Europe has some weird and wonderful land races and breeds, and I discover new ones all the time, whereas the more commonly kept breeds in the States are different (EE and leghorns especially).

I pretty much only have BYC as my source of data here, but it is so interesting to learn about the differences (and similarities), and also the breed standards as to size and colour etc have variances.

I've got a bantam wydandotte - not sure she is long legged particularly.

Where have you seen these wyandottes on stilts @JacinLarkwell ?
