Have you called them to see where it is?
Does it have tracking on your delivery? I do deliveries for Hermes and most of them have tracking on nowadays. So when I scan in on a morning the customer usually gets an email to say it's out for delivery.

Hi Yorkshire Coop, Yes I did contact them and its not dispatched yet, so no tracking number, They said their staff/joiner would contact me when its being dispatched and that I would get it `for` the weekend !
I bought a Littleacre coop from them, and apparently it was in stock.

Hi everyone, hope your coop turns up soon Warriorgal :pop

Has anyone ever had a wild chicken issue??! We've got one that hangs around our area (ongoing for years now I think)...often moves on for a while but then we see her roosting up in our tree again...well she came back again of course - now there's food about and my banties in the garden :lau Plenty of people have tried to catch her but never managed it. But for some reason I'm not too keen to have her about now really...I think I just like our little flock as they are. Any hot tips for gently discouraging our unwanted guest?! Or am I just being mean :lau

No wild ones round here but the bloke down the road lets his free range on his small holding. They are often in the road or on the grass verge. Maybe yours has escaped from some where? Does she look like a commercial hen?
My dad trapped and caught a commercial one at his work. He works at a big feed place as a wagon driver and this hen seemed to have stowed away from its farm.
It took him a few days of feeding her but eventually him and 3 other drivers caught her.

Feed her treats and you should have no trouble catching her.

:woot It's on the way!

@chicknovice123. Wow, I've never heard of such thing as a wild chicken:lau!
I agree with @Yorkshire Coop, she may well have escaped from a nearby farm!

Haha yes well I don't think she was born wild lol but she's been doing her own thing round the village for 1-2 yrs now I think. People ask after 'the wild hen'! No one seems to know where she came from. Quite a few people have hens but noone's claimed her! Also plenty of farms around but no chicken farms so I doubt she's commercial (not sure what they look like though!). I do feel a bit mean for not wanting her around but she's so massive compared to my little banties, who are just getting their confidence up and roaming round the garden. She doesn't bother them at all though to be fair. No idea what I'd do with her if I caught her anyway so might just have to keep feeding her lol

Glad your coop's arrived warriorgal...something to do this weekend :thumbsup

Commercial/ hybrid/ warrens or any other of their many names usually look like this ~

Usually a pretty laid back hen and good on the egg production side too as that is what they are bred for. Does your "wild" lady look like these?
