UK Member Please Say HI

The active ingredient in Melton is sodium hyperchlorite(bleach). This is about all I could find.

Look like it does kill the occyst but I'm not sure about using it internally. Good for cleaning drinkers and feeders!

Thanks @Chickencountryuk :D
How are your chicks doing today?

I was advised to give my girls a probiotic or vitamin boost after treating with baycox, is live yogurt the best or should I get something specific?
Hi. I've only started giving them coxoid this morning. They seem ok. They come out have a scratch about and a drink then go back under the brooder plate. Hopefully a couple of days and they'll be back to normal! I've just got a bag of growers for them all now. So I'll bin whatever is left with the chick crumb.
If I need to give mine probiotics I have a powder called entrodex. It is a probiotic with vitamins and minerals. You just mix it in the drinking water. I used to get it from my vet but since they closed I get it from eBay. You can give them natural live yoghurt. Sometimes I get it and mix some porridge oats and sweetcorn in. They go wild for it!! I'm not sure how much they eat by how much is on there faces! But its good!

Can I just hi-jack the thread a little and ask how people are dealing with flies in this hot/humid weather? We seem to have an uncontrollable population explosion and the red top bag is not doing much.

Hi we don’t have many flies here in Northumberland but it’s still quite chilly. I think it’s meant to get hotter next week so I’d be interested in anything you find out!

Works for inside! We had an invasion the other night but it seems to have subsided now! Can't do much about the ones outside but it's not been that bad. See what happens next week when it's meant to hit 30c!!

Hi

Im not trying to seperate this forum up but i thought it would be nice to know who and how many UK based members there are here

The main reason is then as the members in USA conduct Egg Swaps and Counrty and County based Sales and Advice then we can see who would be best to ask for local advise

So Any UK member just say Hi and state which Town/County your in

I will Start

I'm in UK, West London [Berkshire]
