Hiyah, can you help at all....my lovely Buff Orp is gurgling like mad as if some fluid is in her lungs. Any tips? Shes calmed alot since we gently tipped her and bought her inside but gosh she sounds like shes dying.

Do you think it's lungs? Could it be her crop? Is it when she is breathing? Any snot? Are her eyes clear?

I literally have no idea. I've made her comfy...best i can do...i hope she pulls through. Have to pop out to collect daughter now so i have to leave her....aaarrggghhh....

Lungs I'm certain. She insists on drinking water out of the duck pond and her throat is shoved over the edge. Had a Wellsummer die like this and its awful

Infection them maybe from the duck water? Aspirating the water?

Anything we can do? She's struggling really bad like she's gasping for air. I looked at the sour crop link....thank you but it doesn't seem to be that. She was fine then had a massive drink and now gargling like mad. As i said I've had to pop out, i can only hope she's still going when i get back in an hour or so...she's soooo lovely. Any tips for filled lungs appreciated
