I have runners and Campbells in too!! I love watching the ducks grow it's so fascinating. My runners are due in two weeks so I'll post pics when they hatchHi everyone,
I've just joined BYC although we have had a few chickens for years. Just got our first cockerel last week - Winston Steinberg - named by the kidsWe already love him to bits. We have three buff orpington - Winston, Lola (our fav as she loves a cuddle) and Iris; a blue orpington - Stella (also a sweetie); Copper Maran - Gloria; three dogs - Jasper, Oscar and Bella. We also have two adorable boys and bought a fab new incy this week - Brinsea Mini ii ex - so I have spent the day trying to understand how it works as I have some beautiful runner and campbell duck eggs arriving on Tuesday!!! I am very excited and I think my husband thinks I am becoming a little obsessed - which is why i joined to say hello (thought i would be in good company!!)
I love on the south cumbria/lancashire border. If anyone has any good advice regarding incubation, ducks or chickens - would love to chat and hear your stories![]()
