Our flock is currently at 7 chickas!

Ayam Cemani is Cleo, Bluebelle is Olive and shes the leader of the pack. Dolly is the spotty Ancona, Light Sussex is Penny and our friendliest chicken.

We got this gorgeous Wellsummer the other day and still no name her eggs are such a rich brown. Then last but not least these two tinkers..

Both Silkie cross, white one is named Floss as she reminds me of candyfloss, grey one no name

We like all our chickens to be different to eachother

Ah love your post its great! Warrens are lovely to have, we had one named Lulu but sadly she passed way they are so friendly. I love your set up, you can tell they must be happy birds !

Hello fellow welshie! how many chickens do you have? Or are those 6 your first?

WEll I hatched one (Joffrey) he turned out to be a rooster and i bought in chicks for company for him, but they also turned out to be roosters that I found good homes for So I bought in a couple of hens for Joffrey. Joffrey, profile pic, is a poland, I bought a white lady poland and two white silkies (one of which is bearded) So 1 Rooster and 3 hens and my lady poland has been laying eggs for just over a week.

Aww cute! I love the name - he is a good king of the hens though right? Sounds like you have a lovely little family going on there!

How exciting! What kind of incubator are you using?

Its called a Jamoel 10, joffrey hatched ok from it. I was hoping my poland lady would sit on them, but she likes wandering off lol
