In terms of wild birds, AI is still presenting in waterfowl and coastal species plus some carrion feeders, not garden birds, but it is all over the country, and clearly it is now endemic. Hopefully the new scientific panel convened for the purpose will come up with some sensible plan for dealing with this soon.

We have seagulls coming into garden areas around here so will keep a careful watch. I let my 3 hens out into a small fenced garden and watch that they are away from other birds, otherwise they are in their covered run. I hope this AI will clear with a good plan.

sunshine and showers, and altogether too cool for this time of year! Mind you, the garden's loving it. How's it in lovely Norfolk?
almost the same here but a bit more on the sunny side we only had two showers (and they were in the late afternoon ) but its good for the flowers to get a good watering and the ducklings loved it as well ( not so much the chickens 🤣 )
