Have you managed to find another duckling?
No! I’ve two options one is 2 week old hatched outside by mum Runner x Cayuga ducklings. Or two week old Runner ducklings. Not sure how they would get along with my tiny 4 day old Call duckling!

Very cute duckling there! Yes I see your dilemma :hmm even at 2 weeks older they will be much bigger.

Hi, I'm Kate from East Sussex. I keep ducks in the back garden (Cherry Valleys, Indian runner and crosses) and have just branched out into geese. I got four Shetland goose hatching eggs but only one hatched, so I'm incubating four more in the hope of getting her a companion. I'd like to do more for rare breeds in future - maybe Shetland ducks to match the geese?

S and T Poultry in Wisbech near Peterborough. They deliver nationally but you will need to order ahead. I had some from them several years ago, - White Rangers and Poulet Gauloise, which aren't anything to do with Bressés but are really good eating. They also lay huge eggs. We didn't eat them all so some were used to produce other chicks. You need to make sure you only breed ones with decent feet though. I don't know if you know about Sasso's and such, but the parent birds are full size cocks and dwarf hens (to cut down on food) that produce full sized offspring. Obviously the next generation is full size and can be bred with any breed you want. Hope that helps

Hi. I'm Mal and we live in Derbyshire. We now specialise in heritage French dual purpose breeds. I am currently waiting for the arrival of 2 dozen Barbezieux eggs from the continent. I lost mine yo foxes 2 years ago and have only just found where i can bet them from! Another breed on my wish list are Caussades or Noires de Caussades, a small, hardy, fox- proof breed. - they fly like racing pigeons and roost high in trees and are supposed to be tbe "creme de la menthe" for eating, - a real gourmet breed!
