I've noticed a trend toward ornamental type birds recently, which is against what I've been taught about the breed; a good production type is the ideal, with manageable crest and beard so as not to hinder ranging.

) and just got them as I wanted the blue eggs but he seems very attractive to me, his pure whiteness, comb and general shape and stance just seems really nice.
