Your birds are gonna love you!!

It will be 93F today and I will get the bath out again. They love to bathe, if it's 33F and raining they will be out trying to shower in the rain. lol an when it's hot I think it gives them some relief.

I think i may have figured out who is paired up to who now! And I've managed to get the ring numbers! One pair were in and around a nest box so I'm thinking they may be wanting to procreate! Question is what would be best stuff for them to build a nest with? I've seen liners that are real expensive but look exactly the same as hanging basket liners, of which I have quite a lot of! Could I use them or just put some straw and twigs or what?

Put in straw and twigs near. They will choose what they want and build up a nest with it. It is similar to buying a child a toy and they will choose to play with the box.
Let pigeons make their own nesting/bedding. The pre-made nests are only to attract customers into forking over cash for them.
ETA place those nest bowls so they build nest in them.

It think my postman hates me. I ordered a 25kg sack of pigeon grit! Got delivered today, he wasn't smiling! I have found somewhere about 15 miles away that does all pigeon and poultry supplies. I have ordered another 5 wooden perches. Not bad for £1.15 each! I put some hay and straw in the loft for the two love birds! I think there will be an egg soon!
