I had a lovely vacation... Sun, sea, fresh air and got to spend lots of time with my dd2, granddaughter and sil.

Glad you had a good holiday! Its August Bank Holiday weekend here and its raining cats and dogs! Typical British weather! Now you have time to swing your plan for pigeons into action!

My DW and DD have got a horse on loan and we went to check out the new stables today, they have a bit of a problem with feral and stray pigeons. There is alot of banded ones. They are on about getting someone in to 'deal' with them. Does anybody know how best to catch them alive? The owner also has an aviary and caught some youngsters. I don't have any pictures but they are really dark grey almost black. Could they be Serbian high flyers?

That's a great video. I got some literature when I got my membership pack but to hear him talk about makes it so much more interesting. They're brave little things are pigeons. So underrated!

Update on the babies and a pic of the horse?

In the first nest all three are doing great! I'm surprised they haven't ventured out yet! I'll get some pics later when it stops raining....hopefully! They other two are doing good too. The horse comes on Tuesday morning, it's a 13.2hh Welsh c, called Nansi! It's brown with a tan mane. I haven't seen it yet but I'll post a picture. I'm off work on Tuesday.

Do they have crests?
These are some pics of one of my Serbian Highflyers (I have 8 Serbian Highflyers in total). Also don’t mind the homer in the second picture.
