tell someone your looking for show quality Silkies an when they send you the pictures of the chickens you messaged them about their comb types arnt correct and then when you ask if their pure or not, they sit behind their computer and bash on the way you talk and THEN deside to tell you that they arent show quality? real mature ma'am, real mature.... Sounds like a grump. Well handled by politely ending the conversation.

Asking for show quality is tricky. The birds in the pics that you were sent may very well have been shown, and depending on the standards and competition at that show, they may have done well. She sent you photos so that you can decide whether you wanted to buy them or not, but you replied with a critique. I can see where she may have gotten defensive, and I can visuallize the downward spiral your communication may have taken. Don't hold it against her.

Quote:She called me dumb and told me I need to go back to school because my english grammer sucked just because I used the word "arent".. and I asked a simple question if they were pure silkies (which they ARE NOT... dont want to use the word ARENT an get called dumb again) but there was NO excuse for name calling!!
But here are some of the pics she send me. they arent by any means show quality!

Their all single combed an have no muffs, creasts, or beards (even though there are bearded an nonbearded in show, I still prefer bearded)
and they arent any reconized Silkie color.

They do not look like mine at all. I would say they AINT and ARENT silkies. I also have cochin silkie crosses and my babies have the muff and beard on them as well.
