Umbilical Cord still attached

Nervous new hatching mom here! The umbilical cord still seems to be attached to the chick & the egg. Will it be okay if it detaches? Also, the inside of the eggs all look like this one. Is that normal?

You can clip it off with clean scissors as close to the chick as possible. If there is any blood you can put corn starch on. Don't pull on the cord.

So it will be ok if I open the incubator to do that? She is dragging that shell around & I'm afraid she will pull it off.
 
That is normal, the chick will eventually drag it off and the little bit of tether will be absorbed.
There will be a little blood probably, i'd only snip it as a last resort like if she hasn't lost it in a few hours.
