So do you think it might be an infection and her belly is like...filled with pus?It looks like pus to me. I would not try to glue it. Hopefully it will continue to drain until the wound scabs up on its own. You could put some antibiotic ointment on it to keep it clean. Good luck with your little chick!
It sure looks somewhat like eggyolk, but at 9 days old I assume that the yolk would have been long absorbed. Very strange indeed.The belly seems slightly stolen to me. The chick is 9 days old. Is it at all possible it didn't properly absorb it's yolk and this is now leaking out? Nothing on the chick looks abnormal except this leakage and she's small, but I have others that hatched from pullet eggs and they are small too. She hatched from a normal sized egg.
