Unable to Roost....

I have a rooster that has an injured foot, and is unable to get up off the ground to roost. What is the best thing to do for him?? I went to the barn earlier and all three of the others were roosted and he was standing in the corner

My Roo can no longer roost due to frostbite and missing toes...he can still move around fine. He sleeps in a nesting box now.
Is your roost flat or is it round like a tree branch?
Roo boy has an easier time on flat surfaces due to the missing toes.
I don't know exactly what your birds injury is...but maybe a flat roost or a nesting box would make him happy?
