Did anyone have a chick with unabsorbed yolk survive ?

Generally they don't.

If yolk is outside body after hatch...nope.
If abdomen is just partly still open... yes, sometimes.

Depends on the severity of the issue...

Only have had that occur once, it didn't survive.
