Probably not, I think it just ruptured it on accident. I've had it happen before. As long as you disinfect the incubator really good it should be fine. How's the chick doing?

It’s been in its little cup but I changed the paper towels because it would get grimy. Was waiting for 24 hours, however, I have learned so much from this! Thanks for all your help!

It was almost there. Also, how long can chicks stay in an incubator? I have heard 48 hours but I put so many in the bator that the hatches are all over the place.
