Unasorbed yolk,and cheeping.PICS HELP!

Okay, I have Povidone Iodine, will that work? So should I just dab a q-tip in it then dab it on its navel? He is still alive and a little of the yolk is gone I think,

High humidity shouldn't change the absorption of the yolk. I would give it more time myself and not put anything on it. The green stuff you are seeing is digested egg yolk waste. There will be some green stuff on the outside of the chick, but if you see the green stuff in a tube in the chick, that's it's intestines. Hope it makes it!

He wants to start walking so bad and has
about a inch of yolk left, hes chipping so much and has alot of
yolk "waste" on him, I wan to get rid of it, but i will just wait till all the yolk
is gone and wipe off his bottom.


P.S. does the chick need humidty to absorb
yolk, I want to put him the brooder so he can practice walking.

if u put hem in the brooder he might start walking around but will probably bst tghe yok on the bedding,or hiz toenails

Hes still alive all my other eggs that were suppose to hatch died some where between day 16-18. He is the only one that hatched, i pulled off all the hard poo on his bottom and left the drie yolk.
