Unbalanced New Guinea hatchling

Keet hatched last night and can’t seem to stay up right. His little leg stretches out, moves around but it’s as if he kept it curled in the egg and can’t balance on it. I find him on his side. There are no obvious deformities… and I have tried holding him so he can try balancing on both…. Any suggestions??

It sounds like possibly splayed legs. I would make a brace for splayed legs and see if it helps.
