Underground RR Quilt Block

Pics
They are all the same block! You will have to make some half blocks to finish the quilt. Take a long look at it and the penny will drop!
Great ! Even better not to worry about any left or rights. I am slowly working on one quilt that looked easy but has left and right blocks with 2 color schemes. I have to lay each block out before sewing and double check plus I need to keep track to have an even number of left and right.

So what you think of the block and the pattern? Does it look like a fun swap option? The block looks simple enough especial if the 4 same fabric 3 1/2 in. blocks are changed to one 6 1/2 inch block.

I'll have to dig around for my book. I am pretty sure this block had several options for lay out.

I have been working on Bonnie Hunters new mystery quilt for 2015, I hope that it's all right to mention that here. It has really kept me busy the last two weeks but I'm learning great new quilt things and dealing with 2.5 " squares and angles. whee--
Befor that I was putting one of our quilts together, and for the boarders I came up with this idea. I made a drunkards path block the width of the boarder I wanted. I photo shows it better than I can describe it. What do you think, is it just too weird? I think this block was called antique tile and we did them in pink and sage.

Oh I really like it! Love theborder. :)

Okay - I apologize for being way behind here.  I had it in my head that the due date was the middle of December (not sure why).  I will get them done and out this week.  Sorry all for the delay.
I'm not finished either, so don't feel bad! :) I'm hoping to get mine done and out tomorrow, but if not, by the thursday at the latest.

@anna6 if they act up then I will send them to you but something tells me it might be better if I separate them ha ha
We usually have our swaps due in the middle of the month and to tell you the truth I'm behind too so I really wouldn't worry too much. Mentioning quilts is perfectly OK along with anything else and love the border too I have not put those blocks together so I may steal your idea. I can't see the block site so I will have to check it out on Tuesday but if you ladies like it and want that to be our next block I'm game

I saw it and the penny dropped!!! I like it lots of possibilities what do the rest think? The pattern is for 12 inch blocks too
One of the aspects I like it is that most likely we already have fabric in our stash that we own to do this swap, something that would work well for me after spending my money for the Holidays. Like I mentioned, I am a sucker for scrap quilts too.
