Hagrid was in some shallow water, looking under rocks for any small creature easy to kill. He was carrying a spear he had found a little ways out into the ocean, and held it tightly just in case anything decided to sneak up on him.

Ster swam past him. She was scared and hid in some seaweed.

Hagrid heard something and looked behind him. He was pretty sure he saw some scales behind the moving seaweed, and decided that it was probably some child trying to scare him. He swam over to the seaweed and pulled it back, expecting a child but instead saw a mermaid.
"Wait...Um, who are you?" He asked, now with a rather stern look.

"What are you doing here, you should be back with the tribe...Actually, I don't recognize you. Or that name." Hagrid said suspiciously. "Are you not in the tribe?" He asked, pointing his spear at her a little.

"Oh. Why not? Being in a tribe is useful for survival. Why leave?" Hagrid asked rather curiously. "Also, if you don't attack I won't hurt you. So come on out."
