Undeveloped egg in the poo pile? Picture included

Can anyone tell me about this mess I found in my coop this morning? To me, it looks like a pullet's underdeveloped egg came out when they let out a poo, but tell me if I'm wrong.

I have two mature, laying hens; one possibly with a very mild case of vent gleet that I'm on Day three of treating. Additionally, I have seven pullets who have been laying less than two weeks. (And two roosters, if that matters.)

Looks like a soft shell egg laid from roost! I’ve seen it with my birds too. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about though

Occasional glitches happen. Especially when you have new layers or hens going into and/or coming out of a molt.
