Unferilised egg with blue vein?

Hi all so my dad cooked an egg today and he said it had a faint streak of red from the yolk into the blue and a blue vein looking thing coming out of the yolk and moving through the white of the egg in a slightly curved way. He did not get a picture and we do not have a rooster. What could this possibly be?

Was it squirming, is that what you mean by moving?

Eggs can't be fertilized without a rooster, & a fertile egg will have a bullseye.

Nothing was squirming that I know of- my dad cracked it into a pan so it was partially cooked when he noticed it.

Could be a part of the thin cuticle that holds the egg before it drops then.

I missed the blue portion of the description.

Most likely a type of meat spot which is edible.
