I was searching the web the other day and came upon a blog about a garden show out west somewhere that a display with a vintage truck turned coop. The bed was used to plant veggies. The same vignette also had a mini coop or tractor made out of a 50 gallon drum painted to resemble a john deere. I cant find the exact blog that had such good photos on it, although I have come across a couple articles that discuss it. If anyone can post any photos of these on this thread, Id be thrilled. While you are at it...post your photos of your super-creative coops that have used out-of-the-box materials. I would like this thread to focus on the pure creativity used to make some pretty spectacular chicken houses. It seems there are some threads devoted to the ugliest coops, cheapest coops, etc....but Im interested in good looking, solid, creative constructions that are very unique. Let's have fun with this one! Get those pictures loaded!

Nobody has anything? I was really hoping someone would have at least a link to a page that had pics of that Garden Show chicken truck.....

I can't remember which thread but someone has turned an big ol' truck that looks like a moving truck into a coop. Others have turned campers into coops.

Yes, you're right. That one should be listed on our Ugly/Tacky Coop contest thread. I will try to locate it now.

i hope this is the correct link but wqww.thefancyfarmgirl.com ...check out her coop page...she has bantams and is a photographer...so it is totally fru fru. I am also trying to locate a coop on BYC that was incorporated in to a fellows house and it was awesome...just cant find it when I search for it.
