You might want to wait for the CA results, maybe you DON'T want them testing in LA.@ChickenCanoe , I might try to see if LSU ag is interested in doing this, as so many people here keep backyard chickens.

Thank you, that may be a good idea, since the dumbos who run this city think roosters are exotic animals, although you are allowed to keep 4 pet hens. Go figure. You might want to wait for the CA results, maybe you DON'T want them testing in LA.
They accept mail in orders and it looks like they will even email you a shipping label to mail them in.So I'm in So Cal, I guess I would mail them?
Ill look at the link later
Or drive a really long way. Maybe you can get @ronott1 to invite you to dinner, I think it would be worth the drive. So I'm in So Cal, I guess I would mail them?

Yes! They would love to get eggs from down there. One of the things they are looking for is if smoke and ash from the fires is contaminating the eggsSo I'm in So Cal, I guess I would mail them?

Good question. Seems like it would be a RELATIVELY short turn around since they are studying the possible effects of smoke and ash in the eggs. Not quite the same as a study to see if something is causing a shorter lifespan or some disease like cancer.Very Interesting! I wonder how long it will be before they post their findings?
