That's what I was thinking & it's what was throwing me off! I'm no turkey expert either!I wss wondering if its a turkey poult also. The comb area looks a little odd for a chicken. But I'm definitely not a turkey expert!

I will look those up! Thank you!A poult is possible. Looks similar to what my royal palms did when they hatched
It does look very similar! Thank you!I'm thinking it looks like a turkey poult. Having never raised them, I'm not sure but it does not look like a chicken chick to me. Here is a picture I found online of turkey poults, looks kinda like your little one!
I need to ask my husband...I have some leftover chick starter. I'm away from home for a couple of days! What are you feeding it?
I agree it doesn't look good! I wish I was home, so I could assess it better. We will keep it separate.Looks like a chicken to me. Also looks a bit sickly.
We looked up baby vultures too...we have Turkey Vultures here & they look totally different! Thank you! I'm definitely leaning towards turkey! My husband said it was a baby vulture but I looked them up and it is defiantly not a baby vulture I looked at baby turkeys and I am pretty sure it is a baby turkeyView attachment 2330030
