unknown (but beautiful!) breed (EE's?) and unknown sex...help?

The little black thing made me giggle something fierce!!! Can we have pictures of it growing? I would love to se what it grows up to be.

ask my cat! she seems to be collecting birds lately. she doesnt kill them, just brings them in and licks them. found this little one snuggled between the kittens 2 days ago.

its perked up a lot now and is swimming with the baby ducks at the moment!

I think you're right about that being a Moorhen. I googled moorhen chicks and they look like that with the oversized feet and all. Looks like a kid wearing Daddy's shoes. I hope you can be successful raising it.

They're adult legs on a babies body!! I'm going to have to google this...I've never heard of a Moorhen.

I've never heard of a moorhen, but I will definately be googling it.

And I got such a giggle over somthing called a "coot". I never heard that unless the word "old" preceeds it and it refers to a cantankerous person - usually with affection.

I can't keep from giggling thinking about being able to have my own personal coot!! And I've only been married 12 years LOL
