Unknown injuries

It appears to be just this one girl pecking non stop. The others peck once in awhile, but I have been moving some in an out to heal injuries/separate from the flock when she was pecking. Is there any specific ways to combat them pecking and if it is cannibalistic how so?

I think it may be this one chicken you are talking about. You need to nip this in the bud, I haven't had any experience with this because I'm a fairly new chicken keeper, so here is an article that may help.

Thank you! I also notice that they seem to peck at each other if they're standing around or simply taking a dust bath. Do roosters help prevent fighting between birds?

It all depends on the rooster. Some roosters are great with their ladies, and others are better at watching. It all depends. An occasional peck is alright, but it's when some chickens (or just one) gang up on certain birds and attack them mercilessly.
