One of the surefire ways to get folks to stop listening/learning is to scold them for making misstatements...

if the goal is to educate then we want to be sure not to adopt a “let me set you straight on that” or “look how smart I am” approach...

I’m not accusing you of that... but in general BYC is pretty “preachy” in these ways

I agree. I would put up a game camera because it will be back and then you'll know what you're dealing with. I had several birds killed in one coop and the game camera came in handy. This was the killer. I have it on video.

Either way, ever since I shot coons nothing has been back will keep my eye out though! I went to the local swap meet yesterday and picked up four more bantam hens!
