How about 5 Ayam Cemani, 5 Svart Hona, 5 Minorca, 5 Spanish, 5 Ameraucana, and most importantly 5 Australorp. That’s not 20 black chickens all the same

Australorps are okay, but pretty boring in my opinion. I'll just stick to my cochins and brahmas.

I don't have a need for a broody.

Plus my bantam cochins go broody enough as is. It's a different broody every week.

IMHO, Orpingtons are pretty much the equivalent of Labrador Retriever, and golden labs are in the top ten dog breeds almost every year, so I am not surprised that Buff Orpingtons are popular.

It occurred to me to say almost this exact thing, but I thought I'd better not. Why piss off so many extra people? I've done enough already.

That would probably work, except Svort Hona and Ayam Cemani look almost exactly the same, just a small size difference

Jist make sure you have plenty if cat carriers in case you get some that decide killing is more fun than laying eggs. I had one group from one seller that killed about a quarter of their group
