I dislike Silkies.
No angry face from me today.

Mine laid almost every day, but they were defective and never went broody

Yes. I get that some people can't bring themelves to and have to find someone else to. I don't think that's a bad thing

See that is what I am saying they have to be broken to lay eggs more then once every week or two!

Again, I agree. Even though I have a solid black hen. It’s not something I’d ever intentionally breed for.

Definitely not. Unless someone dumped 20+ solid black chickens into my yard.
